We have been talking about the power of PEW and other enviro-WACKO people & groups who have as their primary goal, to drive fishermen off the oceans. Here is some very interesting information about Lady Jane Lubchenco and the power behind this person now running NOAA/NMFS, and I should add the fishing industry into the ground.

This investigation ties Jane Lubchenco and all of the recent appointments to top Fishing Management Councils on Ocean's Policy back to Oregon State University where many went to school together, taught together at OSU, or their close personal relationships during their tenures at PEW or EDF prior to her appointment as Head of NOAA. These so-called Scientists are heavily influencing our Congressional and Senatorial Officials, and even the U.S. President on the eradication of the local fisherman. They are influencing policy to give all fishing rights to foreign entities and large corporations.

It shows that there are questionable agendas by PEW Charitable Trust and the face they show the public and what is really going on when a Big Oil Company wants to make all policy regarding America's Fishing Industry. One has to question whether Big Oil (Sunoco) will act conservatively regarding fish stocks and biomasses or will they bow to their profit margin. I'll bet anyone a million dollars it will most certainly be their profits.

This document is a list of monies/grants given by PEW to various Oceans Science Studies from December 1997- Present. It clearly shows that certain Scientists and Academics received large sums of money from PEW, yet they are some of the leading policy makers that influence our elected officials and the public.



PEW's - Dr. Daniel Pauley

This shows that Dr. Daniel Pauly, one of the top advisors on ocean policy to our Congressmen and Senators, has promoted Catch Shares, but he has been heavily funded by PEW and in essence has been paid over 20 million dollars to say so, soliciting PEW's agenda to influence Catch Shares as the ultimate answer to all of the fishing industries problems. Remember, Catch Shares will be eliminating 50-75% of the Southern New England Fishing Fleet and give ultimate rights to Private Industry, Large Corporations as well as Foreign Entities to be traded on the Stock Market, therefore, taking away one of the American People' last Public Resources Fish, and the privilege to fish for any American. It will prohibit any American from taking a Sunday afternoon fishing trip with their kids, because all the fish will already be owned by someone else.

It is no wonder that Fishermen and their Communities cannot fight these environmental groups, they have an unlimited supply of money, and with all the heavily restricted catch limits and quotas, local fishermen cannot even afford to feed their families, let alone contribute to legal challenges in order to save their livelihoods.
